Football coaching for kids begins from 5 and goes up to 18, with dedicated batches being available for every age group. These batches have a maximum of 12 players to participate more while allowing the coaches to play a more prominent role in their development. Finding the suitable pack based on age and skill level is the first step towards setting up a fun and effective learning environment for your child.
The Sporthood Academy for Badminton focuses on the child's holistic development for them to be able to deal successfully with various sporting challenges in the future while also ingraining in them the values that embody our philosophy: Effort, respect, teamwork, humility, and ambition. We also strongly believe that a child's progress depends on the development of the coaches. Only a skilled coach can bring out hidden talents lurking within each child. Therefore, every coach working in Sporthood is trained by former Indian National Coach Uttsav Mishra, who has worked with PV Sindhu, Saina Nehwal, and Kidambi Srikanth. This is carried out in weekly training sessions that focus on coaching, player development, and progress.

Constant focus is emphasised on improving the five key aspects that affect sports performance - Technical, physical, mental, social, and nutritional habits.
One of the significant advantages Sporthood has over its competitors is the App-enabled technology support available for parents and kids to manage their whole academy experience. We have simplified it all down to a few clicks, from finding the suitable batch in the right location to booking a trial. But the cornerstone of our technology solution is the ability of our coaches to track a child's progress during the session while allowing parents access to the same. In addition to this, quarterly progress reports are generated and worked upon in one-to-one Parent-Coach meetings.
At the end of the road, every academy strives to create new superstars in Indian Badminton. At Sporthood have tried to make this dream an eventuality with our association with national coaches and international brands like Puma and Yonex. Aside from all the training, the kids are also exposed to plenty of tournaments to develop their competitive edge. Such environments accelerate growth, increase team spirit and build life skills as they learn to cope with the ups and downs of reality.
Merit and Means based Scholarships
Sporthood Academy provides scholarships for highly talented kids and those who may not be able to afford the coaching fees. These scholarships vary from a 25% to 50% fee reduction and, in some cases, go up to even 100%. Merit-based scholarships are given out to the most gifted kids, while means-based scholarships can be worked out considering various factors like Annual income.
