BATCHES
Football coaching for kids begins from 5 and goes up to 18, with dedicated batches being available for every age group. These batches have a maximum of 12 players to participate more while allowing the coaches to play a more prominent role in their development. Finding the suitable pack based on age and skill level is the first step towards setting up a fun and effective learning environment for your child.
Coaching Philosophy
The Young Blasters Sporthood Academy focuses on the holistic development of the child for them to be able to deal successfully with various sporting challenges in the future while also ingraining in them the values that embody our philosophy: teamwork, respect, effort, humility, and ambition. We also strongly believe that a child’s progress depends on the development of the coaches. Only a skilled coach can bring out hidden talents lurking within each child. Therefore, in addition to being licensed by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) or the All India Football Federation (AIFF), every coach has to actively participate in regular coach education sessions led by senior coaches in Sporthood & Kerala Blasters FC.

The Sporthood curriculum is scientifically designed, developed, and curated by AFC-licensed coaches. Every session is planned well in advance, reviewed by the experts, and contains a series of progressive and interrelated activities, each adapted for a specific training level or stage. Constant focus is emphasized on improving the five key aspects that affect sports performance – technical, physical, mental, social, and nutritional habits.
Progress Tracking & Reporting
One of the significant advantages Sporthood has over its competitors is the App-enabled technology support available for parents and kids to manage their whole academy experience. We have simplified it all down to a few clicks, from finding the suitable batch in the right location to booking a trial. But the cornerstone of our technology solution is the ability of our coaches to track a child’s progress during the session while allowing parents access to the same. In addition to this, quarterly progress reports are generated and worked upon in one-to-one Parent-Coach meetings.
Growth & Exposure
Every academy strives to achieve is to create new superstars in Indian Football. At Sporthood have tried to make this dream an eventuality with Kerala Blasters FC, our technical partners in Kerala. The Young Blasters Sporthood Academy structure ensures the kid receives the proper education and guidance at every level. The pyramid starts with the ‘Regular’ batches and moves up through the ‘Advanced’ and the ‘Elite Squad.’ The best talents will have the chance to get drafted into Kerala Blasters FC’s Centres of Excellence at the district level or the ‘High-Performance Academy’ at the national level. The kids are also exposed to plenty of tournaments to develop their competitive edge, accelerate growth and increase team spirit.

Merit and Means based Scholarships
The Young Blasters Sporthood Academy provides scholarships for highly talented kids and those who may not be able to afford the coaching fees. These scholarships vary from a 25% to 100% fee waiver. Merit-based scholarships are given out to the most gifted kids, while means based scholarships are awarded based on Annual income
